I presently have vinyl flooring in my kitchen which needs replacing. What options would you suggest?
There are a number of options. Laminate flooring now comes in a wide array of colors and styles and may be your most inexpensive option. Hardwood flooring or ceramic tile are also popular; however, please keep in mind this is a more in-depth job.

Is light-colored tile grout really difficult to keep clean?
High traffic areas will always tend to have a darker color over time. Lighter colors can still be used but will require more maintenance over time
